ATTENTION 8TH GRADE: Opportunity at MoHS to Learn About College Athletics-October 7
The nationally acclaimed program, “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete”, is coming to the Monticello High School Forum on Monday, October 7 at 7:00pm.
This FREE informational seminar for student-athletes and parents of students in grades 8-12 will be presented by Rick Wire, President of Dynamite Sports. Both parents and students are encouraged to attend together. This is a powerful talk that both parents and student-athletes interested in collegiate athletics need to hear. Students will learn about the NCAA Eligibility Center and valuable information about recruitment, academics, scholarships, and college visits.
Come early and hungry, the Monticello Athletics Boosters Club is hosting a Pancake Dinner from 5:30-7:00pm in the Commons (right next to the Forum).  The cost for dinner is $5 for adults and free for children under 5.
NOTE: You do not have to attend the seminar to attend the pancake dinner and you do not have to attend the pancake dinner to attend the seminar!
It’s not too early or too late to get informed – parents and students from 8th through 12th grade are all welcome.
